Children Under Chains
Look down at your favorite tee shirt, the brand new jeans you bought just yesterday, or the new shoes you got for your birthday. Did you even consider that the clothes that you wear were probably manufactured by children on the other side of the world? Have you ever needed to worry about your family and have to help support them through child labor? Probably not. But over 100 million children from third world countries every year are put under child labor to support their families, and most are exposed to toxic chemicals, and hazardous environments. Including to that, many of the children under child labor start at a young age, maybe four or five years old. Imagine having to start working at such a young age in hazardous factories or plantations to earn maybe even less than two dollars per hour, just so you can support your family during poverty.
No one deserves a fate like this.
So many children from poor countries are being hired or forced into child labor each year. These children are often mistreated, put in hazardous environments and are exposed to harmful chemicals. No child on earth deserves a fate like this. The only way to end this is to free the chains from the children.
